EXETER City fans have been given one last chance to win a signed Grecians shirt as the Express & Echo score prediction competition for the 2012/13 season comes to an end.
The competition, run thanks to Exeter City and Bet Butler, has offered fans the chance to win a signed City shirt for guessing from Exeter City's matches this season.
Currently only two fans have managed to put their names in the hat for the end of season draw, so any fan that can guess correctly the score from Exeter City's match at Chesterfield tomorrow will be entered into the same draw and will stand a reasonable chance of winning.
Game information: Chesterfield, like Exeter City, have nothing to play for on the final day of the season having narrowly missed out on making it into the League Two play-off places. However, they go into Saturday's match on much better form than the Grecians having only lost one of their last six and picked up creditable draws against Port Vale and Bradford in recent weeks. They are likely to name Jack Lester in their starting line-up, despite the fact that the veteran striker has largely featured under manager Paul Cook this season. This is because it will be his last game for the club, having played almost 200 times for the Derbyshire side. Apart from that though they aren't likely to make too many changes from the team that convincingly beat Fleetwood 3-1 last time out
Exeter City on the other hand are likely to make a number of changes to the team as Paul Tisdale uses the match as an exercise to give some of his younger players more first team experience and learn more about them along the way. It is a sensible approach as it would be foolish to risk the likes of Alan Gow and John O'Flynn in a match where perhaps the final result is not as important as they would have liked it to be. But, I think Chesterfield will prove too strong for City on Saturday, especially when you consider both sides respective form going into that match.
Verdict: Chesterfield 3 Exeter City 1
