Vandals have struck once again at a toilet block in the city.
On Saturday afternoon toilets were damaged in Whipton Village Road.
Two fire crews from Exeter had to use breathing apparatus and a hose reel to deal with the blaze.
The cause of the fire was deliberate and was reported to police.
It is the latest in a long line of attacks on these public loos – previously they have been targeted 21 times in just a three month period.
Keith Owen, lead councillor for environment in the city, said: "I regret this has happened and obviously we will be looking into it and seeing what action we can take to prevent it happening again.
"As a matter of general policy we are keen to keep public toilets open as we appreciate the benefit they provide for the public."
