Two former Exeter agents have launched their own niche estate agency.
Charles Darrow, based in Newton Abbot, will specialise in commercial property and aims to tap into the growing demand to buy and rent businesses and commercial property in the South West.
Joint directors Paul Heather and Jon Clyne have almost 30 years' combined experience as commercial property agents, having previously worked in the city for a leading national commercial property agent.
Charles Darrow will focus on selling a vast range of businesses and commercial property, including pubs, restaurants, hotels, post offices, petrol stations, pharmacies, dental practices and retail outlets, as well as offices, warehouses, industrial and investment properties.
Jon said: "We are delighted to be launching Charles Darrow at a time when business and property owners can start to look forward again.
"We believe our expertise in dealing with a broad range of business and commercial property will help our clients to secure a beneficial sale or letting.
"We are confident we can offer a top class service and a completely open and honest approach to buying, letting and selling property."
The company, which will cover the whole of the South West, has been quietly testing the market prior to launch and has already secured a number of clients.
Paul added: "The reaction from businesses and commercial landlords has been really encouraging already and we are looking forward to getting started. We have opened a fantastic office in Newton Abbot, and we are very much open for business."
