Fire crews have attended incidents in Devon this morning caused by high winds.
The Fire Service received a call reporting metal sheeting coming loose on the roof of the petrol station forecourt at the White House Services in Okehampton just before 9am today. (Sunday)
Fire crews confirmed loose sheeting affected by high winds on a petrol forecourt canopy. They removed sheeting to make it safe.
They also attended Broad Park Avenue, Ilfracombe, at 9.20am after getting a call about loose roof tiles.
The slate tiles were removed and fire crews left the incident in the hands of the property owner who was making arrangements to secure the roof with a baton.
