A CITY hotel is offering sports fans the chance to bid for an evening out with two players from Exeter Chiefs.
The Magdalen Chapter is running the silent auction in association with the rugby club to promote its regular Wednesday night Steak Night – when all steaks are half price when enjoyed with a starter or dessert from the a la carte menu.
The highest bidder will get to share a private steak supper for six people including wine – with the added bonus of being joined by players Chris Whitehead and James Hanks.
All proceeds from the auction will be equally split between the hotel's chosen charity, Exeter Leukaemia Fund, and Exeter Chiefs chosen charity, The Exeter Foundation.
The dinner will be held on Wednesday, March 19, in the Circle at the hotel and the closing date for the auction is Monday, March 10, at midnight.
