Alphas reach first cup final

KIERAN Endicott hit a hat-trick as Alphington made it to their first Devon Cup final. It was a good team effort that helped the Alphas run out comfortable winners against Sidmouth. Jonny Dunne did equalise for the Vikings, but the best goal of the game was an excellent 30-yard effort from Will Pitman
Alphington 2 Westexe 1
Alphington made it through to the semi-finals of the league cup with a derby victory over Westexe. The prolific Kieran Endicott opened the scoring before Toby Madden doubled the lead when his free-kick eluded everyone. Ryan Jackson scored an excellent consolation goal.
UNDER-14s
Stoke Hill Celtic 1 Pinhoe Spears 2
Morgan Cullen scored an extra-time winner as Pinhoe Spears made it through to the final of the Devon Youth Cup. Stoke Hill Celtic took the lead early on, but Will Dean equalised from the penalty spot with five minutes to go. That took the game to extra time, where Cullen finished off a through-ball from Jonny Farnsworth to win the match.
Tedburn St Mary 0 Pinhoe Spears 2
Pinhoe Spears also made it into the semi-finals of the Exeter & District Youth League Cup, with a comfortable win over Tedburn St Mary. Tedburn had the better of the first half, but Spears did enough in the second to score through Bradley Edwardson and Morgan Cullen.
UNDER-13s
Dawlish United 1 Heavitree United 9
First-half hat-tricks from Sam Beer and Josh Herbert for Heavitree settled this game by half-time. In the second half, Mark Dunne scored a brace and Jakob Tonkins hit the bar before man-of-the-match Herbert bagged his fourth.
