A dog was rescued from Orcombe Point in Exmouth this afternoon after the animal fell down a cliff.
The fire service was calle at 15:05 today, one appliance from Exmouth with the Specialist Rescue Team from Urban Search and Rescue at Clyst St George were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival at the scene crews located the owner who directed crews to the exact location of the incident, on arrival at the scene crews rigged with lines to descend the cliff face.
One small cocker spaniel dog was rescued from the cliff using lines and safe working at height and confined space equipment.
