A man who fell from cliffs in Exmouth remains in the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.
The 31-year-old suffered major injuries following the fall from Orcombe Point in Exmouth.
He was discovered at the foot of the cliffs on Friday night.
The man was rushed to hospital in a police helicoptor. His identity has not been released.
Police, a police helicopter, ambulance paramedics, Exmouth RNLI lifeboat, Exmouth CRT and a coastguard helicopter from Portland were all involved in a major rescue operation at around 8pm on Friday.
They were send after reports of a fall from the cliffs at Orcombe Point.
The man was discovered still alive at the foot of the cliffs and rushed to hospital in Exeter in a police helicoptor.
The exact extent of his injuries is unknown.
A spokesman for the coastguard said the rescue services "were tasked to a 32-year-old male who had jumped off the cliff at Orcombe Point, Exmouth.
"The male who sustained some injuries, was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter hospital by police helicopter."
