Devon and Cornwall Police say they have successfully prevented two raves occurring overnight in the Fernworthy Reservoir and Woodbury Common areas.
Officers have have been running Op Derig an operation to prevent Rave activity in the Force area over the Easter weekend.
Sound equipment has been seized with follow up investigations being conducted.
The operation will continue over the weekend.
Ins Steve Bradford said " Officers reacted quickly to information from members of the public to deal with two raves in the processes of being set up ensuring sound equipment was seized and persons requested to leave the area.
"The operation is set to continue for the rest of the weekend."
