The biggest crowd of the season has gathered at Exeter Racecourse for its most glamorous meeting.
Ladies Night offered everyone the chance to slip into their posh frocks or tuxedos with prizes awarded to the most stylish men and women.
The event has also seen six competitive races, including the prestigious final of the Devon and Cornwall Intermediate Point-to-Point Series.
Tim Darby, general manager of Exeter Racecourse, said it was a fantastic event.
"The good people of Devon came out in their finery," he said.
"There was a big crowd and lots in people in their best gear.
"It's great to see that so many people really made an effort.
"I've seen some of the men wearing tuxedos and the ladies are looking very glamorous out there."
Mr Darby estimated that the event drew crowds of more than 2,500, which is the biggest this season.
"We are very pleased with Ladies Night. It is a fitting end to the season."
Exeter Racecourse has enjoyed a good season with several big name events despite the ground being effected by the relentless storms experienced in the Westcountry during the winter.
The winner of the Grand National, Pineau De Re won a race at Exeter before going on to cross the finish line first at the famous Aintree race.
Mr Darby said the summer would be spent making preparations for the next season with routine maintenance at the racecourse.
He said that the conference facilities, a sector which had grown by 25 per cent, would remain open.
