Teignmouth Coastguard and an ambulance crew were called to Coryton Cove, Dawlish after an eight year old girl got into trouble in the water on Saturday afternoon.
The crews received the call out just after 4pm and she had to be pulled from the water.
An ambulance was on hand for the youngster following the rescue
Coastguards were called out again on Sunday morning to rescue a person from the water at Powderham on the River Exe.
The person was assisted from the water by the Police at 10:07am.
