A Judge in Exeter has issued the warrant for the arrest of a homeless man who has admitted breaking a suspended sentence by vandalising a car. Luke Lilley, aged 25, failed to turn up for his sentencing hearing after his case was sent to Exeter Crown Court by magistrates in North Devon because they did not feel their maximum available sentence of six months was enough. Lilley, formerly of Heppenstall Road, Barnstaple, is in breach of an eight month sentence imposed at Exeter in 2012 for carrying a knife and a pool queue in the Barum Arcade. He was due back at the same court to be sentenced for criminal damage after he admitted smashing windows of an MG car earlier this year. Judge Phillip Wassall issued an warrant for Lilley's immediate arrest.
