CREEDY LAKES
Exeter's Chris Haydon caught the heaviest mirror carp of the week at Creedy Lakes when he tempted out one weighing 22lbs 12oz.
He also hooked two other mirrors and seven common carp, with the best scaling 19lbs 4oz.
Crediton's Mike Izzard also landed a mirror carp, which scaled 21lbs 10oz. It was one of 15 fish he caught to record the best bag for the week.
The best green tench for the week was tempted by Exeter' s Lee Rowe. His bag included 12 fish, with his best tench scaling 5lbs 11oz. His best common carp tipped the scales to 21lbs 1oz in a combined bag weight of just under 142lbs.
Another nice tench catch was recorded by Exeter's Steve Holdsworth, who landed one scaling 5lbs 6oz. His six-fish haul included two tench and four commons, with a best of 19lbs 6oz.
On a second trip to the lakes, Holdsworth landed nine fish with one tench, two mirrors and six commons up to 19lbs 6oz.
Exeter's Steve Haydon also fished Creedy last week and landed nine commons to 22lbs exactly.
Mark Downing enjoyed two sessions at Creedy. The first saw him land seven fish, with six commons up to 14lbs in weight, and he caught eight commons up to 17lbs 12oz during the second.
Ben Weston also landed eight common carp, with his best catch scaling 20lbs 4oz.
Dawlish angler Bernard Courtney tempted four commons to 19lbs 8oz, Jamie Stopforth landed eight carp to 16lbs and Danny Hayman also caught eight carp, with a best of 16lbs.
Andrew van Koutrik landed two commons up to 19lbs and Dan Erridge caught four fish up to 16lbs 8oz.
In the top lake, juniors Keir Davey and Sam Downing caught seven fish between them, with five carp up to 15lbs. WEST PITT FARM
Josh Stone, nine, from Tiverton, landed a large carp while fishing with his family at West Pitt Farm Fishery.
He was delighted as it was bigger than any fish his dad and older brother caught. He estimates it was about 25 inches long. SOUTHVIEW FARM
Willow pool gave Alan Perkins 20 carp to 13lbs 8oz on legered sweetcorn.
