The Fire Service were called to a horse trapped in a horsebox at Bicton Arena on Friday morning.
At 11:04am one fire appliance from Exmouth and a specialist rescue team from Fire Service Hq were mobilised to the incident.
The horse was released by the specialist rescue team and left in the hands of the owner and the vet.
