Jamie Cureton named in League Two team of the year

EXETER City striker Jamie Cureton has been recognised for his efforts this season by being named in the PFA League Two team of the year. Cureton, who also won Exeter City's Red Army player of the year and supporters' player of the year awards, scored 21 league goals for the Grecians this season just missing out on the golden boot award to Tom Pope, who was also named in the team of the year. No other City players featured in the team of the year with two Southend and Gillingham defenders getting the nod ahead of the like of Danny Coles and Pat Baldwin. Their was some recognition for captain Coles however as he picked up the club's players' player of the year award on Sunday night. PFA League Two team of the year: Stuart Nelson (Gillingham), Sean Clohessy (Southend United), Ryan Cresswell (Southend United), Adam Barrett (Gillingham), Joseph Martin (Gillingham), Marlon Pack (Cheltenham Town), Gary Jones (Bradford City), Jacques Maghoma (Burton Albion), Jennison Myrie-Williams (Port Vale), Jamie Cureton (Exeter City), Tom Pope (Port Vale).
