The Met Office in Exeter is warning of more heavy rain hitting the region on Sunday. And the Environment Agency is concerned about the potential for further flooding as the downpours hit already saturated land and full rivers. More heavy rain is expected on Monday and Monday. And it will again be combined with strong winds. The Met Office is forecasting Sunday to be the wettest day, with heavy rain throughout the morning, afternoon and into the evening. And the stormy weather is set to continue on Monday, with gusts of around 45mph expected to batter the region. The Environment Agency South West advises that just two feet of water can float a car and standing water can obscure dangerous obstacles. Train company First Great Western says it expects more flooding to cause major disruption on Devon's rail network over the weekend. Customers with tickets for its services on Sunday were being offered the chance to travel on Saturday instead because of the expected severe weather.
